The less air in the bags, the less chance of freezer burn. These are great if you sous vide or just to portion fish or marinated meats. They have a round section on the bag that you use a vacuum sealer but I just use the hose section of my vacuum cleaner to suck the air out. Lastly I have used vacuum sealed baggies with my vacuum cleaner.I also use them for making small batches of buffalo chicken dip. They can go from oven to freezer and have lids. I use them to make my omelets in a cup meal prep. I love these glass custard cups with lids.They are much better than cling wrap or foil. If you lose your lids for containers, these silicone stretch lids work great.It keeps it fresh and it’s very visual so you know when something is getting low. For wines, it’s best to stick with classic dry red and white wines. Make sure you keep an eye on flavored liquors or mixed liquors as they may have carbs. Dry wines are the second best option, with 3-5g carbs per glass. I put all of my flours, nuts, seeds, sweeteners, coconut flakes, cocoa powder, etc. Liquor is the best choice, being the lowest in carbs (most have zero carbs, in fact). These contners are great for dry goods.Search hundreds of recipes to find additions or replacements, most in the range of 5-10g net carbs per serving. My husband said getting a container was like playing Jenga. The pre-built meal plans are designed to fit most keto macros as a starting point for lunch and dinner, with flexibility to customize using search, drag and drop to fit your macros. I like that the stack neatly in the cupboard. I just bought these plastic Rubbermaid containers for leftovers. The two compartments come in handy so you don’t have to take to containers. Sometimes you don’t want a saucy item to mix with a salad say. To take for lunch I like these glass 2 compartment containers.Baking is helpful when you want to make a small amount of something like keto buffalo chicken dip. I love glass containersbecause they don’t stain and you can freeze, microwave and even bake in them.I hope they give you a little help as we start the new year! Lastly I have a recipe for making cooked chicken cups in the Instant Pot and a post for making your own lunch meat. There are also other recipes like the cauliflower salad jars and omelet cups that will take you through a week of lunches and breakfasts. This soup is my much more tasty version of cabbage soup. What I like to do is make a big batch of the vegetable soup and freeze single serving portions for a quick lunch or snack. Below are a few meal prep recipes to get you started with meal planning.
